Candidate Privacy Notice
How VCINC handles resume, application and recruiting communications data.

This notice describes how VCINC LLC handles candidate and applicant information collected through vcinc.io and our recruiting communications. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Scope of this notice
This Candidate Privacy Notice describes how VCINC collects, uses, retains, shares and protects information about candidates and applicants during the recruiting process.
It applies in addition to our Privacy Policy. If there is any conflict between the two, this notice controls for candidate data.
Information we collect from candidates
We collect information you provide through application forms, the talent network form, email communications, scheduled calls, interviews and any documents you submit (such as a resume, portfolio, cover letter or work samples).
Typical fields include: name, email, phone, current location, work authorization status, engagement preference (C2C / W2 / Full-time), skill set, employment history, references where provided, and the contents of your communications with us.
How we use candidate information
We use candidate information to evaluate your fit for current and future opportunities, to communicate with you about roles, to schedule interviews, to facilitate submission to prospective clients or partners where appropriate, to manage onboarding and engagement, and to maintain accurate recruiting records.
We may also use information to comply with employment, tax, immigration, and other legal obligations, and to maintain the security and integrity of our recruiting operations.
Recruiting workflows and communications
Our recruiting team reviews submissions, performs technical and communication screens, confirms work authorization and rates, and prepares clean candidate profiles for client review.
We may contact you by email or phone about active or future opportunities. You can ask us to stop non-essential communications at any time by replying to a message or emailing the address below.
Sharing with clients, prime vendors and partners
For a specific opportunity, your resume and relevant details may be shared with prospective clients, prime vendor partners or end-clients to support evaluation and placement.
We share candidate information only when relevant to recruiting, staffing, consulting or employment activities and subject to applicable agreements. We do not sell personal information for money.
Service providers
We use service providers that help us run our recruiting operations, including hosting, communications, scheduling, document storage, identity verification (where applicable) and analytics. Service providers are bound by contracts that require them to handle information consistent with this notice and applicable law.
Data retention
We retain candidate information for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate you for current or future opportunities, comply with legal and tax requirements, defend legal claims, and maintain recruiting records.
You can request earlier deletion at any time, subject to limited exceptions where we are required to retain information by law or to protect legal rights.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict or object to processing of your information, or to receive a copy of it. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
